Are you curious about yoga? maybe your friends are constantly talking about it and telling you to try it and how good it will make you feel, but you just haven’t felt the urge to do it, maybe you´ve attended a few classes at larger yoga studios and felt a bit out of place or maybe you prefer easygoing, more workshop-like classes in a small group where you can feel safe, get coaching, attention and just be yourself? then come and join us!
What are the classes like?
I like teaching a slower type of flow class. They are part vinyasa flow, hatha, with a dash of yin poses and a longer relaxation at the end (long savasana). I also include pilates core exercises and functional moves. The transitions are a bit slower so we can protect our bodies and really enjoy the flow.
Classes are interactive, almost like workshops. Students are welcome to pose questions if needed. We learn from each other which keeps classes interesting and never boring!
In these mixed style yoga classes, we breathe, we slow down and look within, we move and flow with the breath, we practice self-compassion, we listen to our bodies, we challenge our body and mind, we sweat, and sometimes we stumble and laugh at ourselves! We work hard to get stronger, we surrender to what is and we always finish the class with a long and well-deserved savasana (deep relaxation), sometimes followed by a short and sweet moment of meditation.
A friendly and simple space to practice
The room we practice in is simple and the classes are friendly and open to all kinds of individuals. If you’ve been a bit hesitant to join larger yoga studios, then you might find the studio and group size just perfect. A small group of maximum 12 students per class.
My biggest wish is that at the end of class, you leave feeling more blissful, more rested, more confident, less tense and much calmer in the mind.
